The City of Oshawa officially welcomed summer on June 25 with the highly anticipated opening of  Lakeview Park’s completely redesigned playground and splash pad. Designed with many unique elements, the larger play areas offer a wide variety of activities and challenges for children of all ages and all abilities.The Lakeview Park Playground and Splash Pad Redevelopment was designed with holistic, inclusive play features for all abilities, and includes three separate areas of play for children of all ages.

 

The junior play area is fully accessible, including rubber surfacing, wheelchair ramp access to the play structure, and two inclusive accessible belt-in swings.
